On posts
As a general rule – at least for the next month or two – you can expect two posts a day, every day except weekends.
(gasp -how?)
The simple answer is boredom combined with a delight in hearing my own voice.
Here’s what is happening. Every time I get an idea, I start a draft – a title and a quick bit in the basic block. If I’ve time I polish it some, if I’m busy I leave it for later. Eventually I get time where I’m twiddling thumbs but can’t play, can’t work on my hands-on crafts/hobbies, and am waiting for others to get me things so I can do something job related. Pop – open the blog and write a bit more.
What this means is that I’ve got about 20 posts in various stages toward completion. I am sure I’ll burn out for a while, eventually. On the other hand if I don’t get them finished I’ll forget — and I really like the sound of my own voice, but not in the echo chamber of “draft”.
On weekends I can play WoW or mow the lawn or cook something interesting or do some engraving or… something besides work on a blog post.
So to reiterate – Monday through Friday, unless it’s a holiday or vacation, you’ll usually see a couple of posts. Unless it’s busy at work – real life > WoW, even WoW-blogging.
